Brand Ambassador Highlight: Eli Smith
I got connected with Eli back in January 2018 through one of our KINEKT dealers in Ohio. He told us about this gentalman he was sponsoring with an E-bike to ride two massive legs around the U.S. Since I was just about to launch our new Brand Ambassador program, I thought, "This sounds incredible and he's exactly the type of person we want representing Cirrus Cycles and KINEKT".
Our goal is to complete extended self-propelled wilderness camping trips with our two young children. We love spending time together as a family outdoors, and we are at the forefront of the trend to get kids into the wilderness on big adventures.
Crater Lake & the Rodriguez Bandito
So this was my fourth ‘real’ ride upon the Rodriguez Bandito. Ride one was a local group ride near Bellingham (AKA: The Donut Ride), second was a group ride out of Eugene and the third was was a summit & re-summit of Lassen Peak on my venture down to Interbike last week.
Simply Propelled: A 1500 km Warm-Up
Travelling by bike can be joyfully simple or insanely complicated. The reality oscillates between these two poles on a minute-by-minute and day-to-day basis, especially when you are travelling as a family of four in the wilderness. It takes some time to settle into a new routine and really get rolling – about 1500 km in our case.
